| SOURCE | The Borrelia garinii organism (strain CIP 103362) is cultured in broth suspension. Washed harvested organisms are solubilised with detergent to produce a lipoprotein and cytoplasmic cylinder extract enriched with Outer Surface Proteins (OSP). |
| PRESENTATION | Lysate in PBS buffer containing 1% n-octyl-β-D-glucopyranoside. |
| PROTEIN CONCENTRATION | mg/ml by Bradford (Biorad) assay using BSA as standard. |
| INACTIVATION | By detergent treatment. Infectivity confirmed negative by absence of growth under original cell culture conditions. |
| APPLICATION NOTE | It is recommended that this antigen preparation is sonicated before use. |
| PRESERVATIVE | None |
| STORAGE | -70ºC. Repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided. |
