SOURCE Pooled normal human plasma / serum that has been tested negative on a single donor basis for HBsAg, anti-HIV-1/2 and anti-hepatitis C.
PRESENTATION Lyophilised from 0.02M ammonium bicarbonate (NH4 HCO3).


May contain traces of buffer salts.
PURITY Nominally greater than 96% of the protein is IgG.

Cellulose acetate electrophoresis Single band only visible with γ-electrophoretic mobility
Protein concentration by Optical Density
using E280nm1cm,0.1% = 1·38 		mg/ml (dispensing solution)
Radial Immunodiffusion (RID) assay using Behring standard To show a positive reaction
IgM & IgA levels (combined) < 2.0% of the total IgG content by RID
STORAGE +2 to +8°C. Do not freeze.
RECONSTITUTION Use of a pH 7 phosphate buffer containing 0·15M NaCl is recommended
