| PRESENTATION | Presented freeze-dried from 0.02M ammonium bicarbonate. The product may contain traces of buffer salts |
| PURITY | >96% of total protein is RBP |
| ANALYSIS | Cellulose acetate electrophoresis shows a band with α2 - electrophoretic mobility. SDS-PAGE shows a distinct band, corresponding to a molecular weight of approximately 21kD. Immunological identity and human RBP concentration verified by Radial Immunodiffusion (RID) |
| CONCENTRATION | Total protein is >2mg/ml determined by OD 280nm, using extinction coefficient 1.94. |
| RECONSTITUTION | It is recommended to reconstitute using a phosphate buffer, pH >7.0, containing 0.15M NaCl, in the original container. |
| STORAGE | +2 to +8ºC. Do not freeze. |
| NOTE | Product recovery may be greater than expected due to dispensing overage allowance. |
