| ANALYSIS | Cellulose acetate electrophoresis shows a band with β1-electrophoretic mobility SDS-PAGE shows a major band corresponding to a molecular weight of approximately 45kD. This is approximately half of the molecular weight of SHBG and corresponds to the subunits that make up SHBG Immunological identity is confirmed by Radial Immunodiffusion (RID) Protein determination by the method of Lowry and by UV absorption using E280nm1cm,0.1%= 1.22 SHBG level determined by Roche Elecsys |
